The mission of The Exchange Center is to prevent physical child abuse and neglect by identifying high-risk families in Dane County and teaching them positive parenting skills through in-home visiting programs.
At The Exchange Center, we empower parents by bringing knowledge, resources, and personal help to their homes. Working with new parents, families with disabilities and parents with cognitive limitations, we help prevent child abuse by replacing a parent’s fear of the unknown with the confidence and empowerment that knowledge brings. Together we can build stronger communities and grow confident and competent families by nurturing parents who believe in their abilities and harbor hope for their children.
